An Angels New Wings

Hello again dear friends…At last I have done another poem with Christmas in mind…It’s getting cold now and let’s not forget to feed our wildlife as without our help they may die…Also think of the needy this Christmas, please don’t pass them by without a thought for what they are going through…My new poem is named… An Angel’s New Wings…Much love as always, hope you enjoy…xxx Lynn xxx
An Angel’s New Wings
Twas a cold winters morning, the trees stripped and bare
A sweet little robin with family to care
The humans forgotten to spare them some scraps
The sweet little robin her memory does lapse!
Up high in the tree tops three babies now cry
Their Mama forgetting her young way up high
Her tummy now empty her strength starts to fail
Laid still in the courtyard the skies start to hail!
A hobo was passing with morsel in…

An Angel’s New Wings
Twas a cold winters morning, the trees stripped and bare
A sweet little robin with family to care
The humans forgotten to spare them some scraps
The sweet little robin her memory does lapse!
Up high in the tree tops three babies now cry
Their Mama forgetting her young way up high
Her tummy now empty her strength starts to fail
Laid still in the courtyard the skies start to hail!
A hobo was passing with morsel in hand
His tummy was empty as he fell to the ground
He gazed at the robin with compassion and love
Then gave her his morsel thanking God up above!
No hailstone did enter the ground where she slept
As an Angel in Heaven took pity and wept
His tears full of kindness did fall where she lay
The sweet little robin now wakes Christmas day!
Up high in the tree tops four robins now grow
With thanks to the hobo and the love he did show
No longer a human but an Angel with wings
Who looks after nature with a heart which does sing!
The Warmth Of A Beggar
Hello each, as Christmas is almost here I wish to share another poem with you all…I wrote this poem back in 2007 when I was on WLS but for some reason it didn’t arrive here with my other work. It’s title is ‘The Warmth Of A Beggar’ Wishing each a Happy Christmas…Much Love… xxx Lynn xxx
The Warmth Of A Beggar
A warmth envelopes us as Christmas draws near
This spiritual season makes Angels appear
They sit on your shoulders and tell you it’s time
To dig deep in your pockets to make the world fine!
Sometimes you may pass a man on the street
And look in disgrace at the filth on his feet
With rags on his back and a cap on the ground
Pleading for help, without making a sound!
Try not to judge and walk in his shoes
Just live like this person with nothing to lose
Feeling the winter and shivering with cold
No roof on your head but a cap you must hold!
The Angels are watching to see what you do
They sit on your shoulder to be nearer to you
“It’s Christmas! They whisper, Please don’t walk by.”
Praying you’ll hear their words which they cry!
Weep for the unfortunate, and show them you care
And act with compassion for the needy out there
Give them some hope and help them get through
Merry Christmas to all, may Angels work with you!

The Gathering Of Angels
Hello friends…Just to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and to share a piece of my heart with you…At this time of year which should be a happy time I feel like there’s more which could be done to for the homeless who just need a chance to help them get through. I know there are con artists which use the homelessness as a ploy to deceive others but why should they suffer through their ignorance!!!…Quite a few years back I remember hearing of a homeless man who was due to move into self contained quarters within weeks but sadly was found frozen to death outside a shop entrance…It was written in the paper “When you’ve been living on the streets for so long you lose your dignity and feel unwanted and unloved!”…My new poem is dedicated to each of these people…Hence
The Gathering Of Angels
Much Love To You Always…xxx Lynn xxx
The snow kissed the Earth on a cold Winter’s day
A man on a bench dressed in rags starts to pray
These words did I hear as I passed slowly by
“Dear Lord hear my prayer as it’s now time to die!”
Then I listened with envy at what he next said
“Thanks for the stars which give light on my bed
Also for the friendship of the creatures so small
And forgiving my enemies when they have been cruel!”
His hands looked so cold with a hint of mid blue
And I hoped with my heart to help him get through!
My eyes felt so moist then I let out a sigh
A stranger to him yet he said “Please don’t cry!”
“Come sit little one for there’s room on this seat
Take my last bread which I beg you to eat!
Please take my cloak as this day is real cold
Then go to your home as your parents may scold!”
I whispered “Come hither, come home with me
Lets fly up to Heaven take my hand come and see!
The Lord has been waiting for your safe return
And has instructed an Angel to take his Son home!”
He reached for my hand with such trust and belief
No more was he cold and his heart felt no grief
As a rich man now enters in Heaven above
And the Angels all gather to bless him with LOVE!

Matthew 25:35-40
35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;
36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?
38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39
Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’
40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least
of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
No Chance
Hello again each…As you already know I’ve really had a setback in life with losing my Granddaughter to SIDS, it’s really hit me hard and to be honest I try to keep myself busy in hope to take the pain away…Last week my Sister’s Grandson passed away also at the age of 20 years old, I feel her pain as I’m still feeling mine and this poem is also for her loss too…We all mourn in so many different ways but my way to deal with it is to put it into poetry…I pray that each of your burdens are small and always remember the ones you have lost with fondness and love…My new poem is titled “No Chance” Much love always and thinking of you…xxx Lynn xxx
No Chance
No chance to share your Birthdays
Or the chance to see you grow
No chance to hold you in my arms
Or to say that I miss you so
No chance to see you fall in love
And to hear you say I do
All I can hope is that you know
That Grandma still loves you!
No chance my heart will ever heal
Or know what plan God’s made
All I can do is hope and pray
That through him your life is saved
No chance that I will ever forget
The time that we shared together
Albeit short but there is no chance
I’ll forget you, never, EVER!!!

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
I’ll Be With You Tomorrow
Another week has passed by and another day nearer to my Granddaughter’s funeral which will be on Wednesday…Sometimes I just sit and think of why this had to be…All I know is without my faith I’d have nothing to hold on to as life can cause such heartbreak…I hope by putting my thoughts in poetry it will help others get by and overcome those obstacles which get in life’s way…My new poem is named…I’ll Be With You Tomorrow…For my little Angel…xxx Danikka-Rae xxx
I’ll Be With You Tomorrow
Will you wait a while longer
For us to unite
As a Passport To Heaven
Is nowhere in sight
It hurts me to leave you
With strangers you see
But the Dear Lord has made
Other plans we can’t see!
I promise you sweetheart
You’ll be missed by us all
As life isn’t easy
And the tears often fall
I pray from my heart
That the Angels above
Treasure each moment
Now they have you to love!
It may seem like forever
And I’ll try to be strong
Until we’re together
As our love is our bond!
I can’t tell you for certain
But I hope and I pray
I’ll be with you Tomorrow
Or even better still this DAY!

Matthew 18:1-4
King James Version (KJV)
18 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Perhaps There Is A Reason
At times when there’s negativity all around you and you’re feeling like you’re world is crumbling I try my best to put a reason why…This poem is for my Beautiful Granddaughter Danikka-Rae…Perhaps There Is A Reason
Perhaps There Is A Reason
Perhaps there is a reason why you’re no longer here
I cannot help but question as reasons bring me fears
A little dot upon the Earth not getting chance to grow
Perhaps there is a reason? But we will never know!
Perhaps there is a reason why life can be so cruel
I wish I had the answers but we can’t make the rules!
I’ll send my tears to God above so he can feel my pain
Perhaps there is a reason why you could not remain!
Perhaps there is a reason the hurt we all go through
The Dear Lord gave us time to know an Angel just like you
You lit my world and made it bright by coming here to stay
Perhaps there IS A REASON! And it’s one last breath away!

Grandma’s Lullaby
Hello again…It’s been a while since I last came on but I could do with some company right now…My beautiful Granddaughter passed away Monday morning and I feel at my wits end…As each of you know I put my feelings the best way I know into poetry so I wrote this poem from my heart and wish to dedicate it to Danikka-Rae, hence…“Grandma’s Lullaby” R.I.P little Angel
Grandma’s Lullaby
In dreams I hold you every night
Whilst Angels go to sleep
To sing you Grandma’s lullaby
And caress your tiny feet
I’d put your head upon my heart
And hope that I could stay
Cos Grandma cannot find her smile
Since The Lord took you away!
In dreams I’d watch you take first step
So you don’t have to fall
And hear you call my name aloud
Whilst you are really small
My heart will fill with pride and do
Somersaults and splits
That’s why Grandma cant wait to sleep
So her heart no longer rips!
In dreams I’d watch you while you grow
And wouldn’t want to leave
As Grandma needs to be right near
So she no longer grieves
At night time when she is all alone
Her mind begins to stray
So she dreams of you right back again
So she can give you love each day!

She Sits Out Of Reach
Hello dear friends…Sorry it’s been a while since I was last on here but I’d like to thank you all for the kind feedback I received from my previous poem…Death or upsets can hit us all in so many different ways and sometimes we can lose our way or even faith in life…I hope with all my heart that any burdens you’re faced with in life will be just small ones and your blessings be ample…I’ve written another poem named… ‘She Sits Out Of Reach’… I hope you enjoy…Much love always…xxx Lynn xxx
She Sits Out Of Reach
No longer the person that she wants to be
She enters the dark door in hope no-one sees
No song in her heart just a numbness within
So she climbs out of reach to a life ‘very grim’
No will to go on as she’s frightened and lost
She’s given up hope and the pain pays a cost
So she sits on a shelf way high out of reach
Like an unwanted toy without trust or belief!
Too scared to unburden how she really feels
So she chooses to go to a world that’s unreal
Encasing the beast which is fed by her fears
In hope that the problem will soon disappear!
The pain’s so intense she no longer can breathe
Emotions so wrought in this life she did weave!
So she closes the door on the darkness for good
Taking chance on a life that is capable of LOVE!
I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul.
A Place Named “Waters In The Sky”
Hi each, it’s been a while since I was on here last…I’ve missed doing my poetry so very much and I’m in need of sharing my latest one…My mum passed away three days ago and I find the need to share a piece of her with you all…She used to be a swimming teacher and learnt so many over the years of her life, these years in my opinion was where she shined mostly…Hence “A Place Name “Waters In The Sky” I hope you enjoy…Much love and blessings always…xxx Lynn xxx
A Place Named “Waters In The Sky”
Whenever I am feeling glum
I’ll think of me beside you Mum
Up in the Heavens oh so high
A place named “Waters In The Sky”
A swimming pool where Angels go
To have some fun to make them grow
A teacher made from pure delight
With hair so red and glowing bright!
The water’s made from Angels tears
Of happiness and no more fears
Up there they swim whilst you do sing
Fluttering their whitest wings!
So whenever I am feeling glum
I’ll swim with love beside you Mum
Until it’s time to soar up high
To a place named “Waters In The Sky”

Mum’s favourite Psalm
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd I shall not be in want [2]He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters [3]He restores my soul. he guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. [4]Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me ; your rod and staff they comfort me [5]You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows [6]Surely goodnes and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

The Trumpeter
At this particular time of year I think of all I’m thankful for, my friends, my family and my love of life…As you know Remembrance Day is around the corner so I thought it would be nice to write another poem for this day…It’s a story of a young Trumpeter and I hope you like my offering, hence…The Trumpeter…May you all have a beautiful Friday, much love always… xxx Lynn xxx
The Trumpeter
On the eleventh day of the eleventh hour and the eleventh month 1918,
The guns of the western front fell silent after more than four years.
Whilst out one cold November day
I watched a lad in fields at play
Where grass no longer there did grow
I’d say his years, seventeen or so!
With trumpet pressed against his lips
Then lightest touch of fingertips
A tune which ripped into my soul
The sound of church bells then did toll!
Eleven times they gently wept
Then silence of two minutes crept
No sound was heard from miles away
Of this we named Armistice Day!
With that the lad just smiled then went
Into a mist from not known whence
But on the ground from where he stood
Were poppies red like ruby blood!
Amongst the poppies was a grave
Made of wood with quite an age
A Trumpeter of age unknown
Lost his way but now goes HOME!
The greatest Injustice
The Greatest Injustice
Twas a day just like any, or so it did seem
But far on a pasture, a Doe she did scream
Her firstborn arriving with a skip and a hop
The cutest young Rabbit of time long forgot!
Many miles over waters on that very day
The greatest injustice on a hill far away
A murder so callous was witnessed by late
Our Lord and saviour died from man’s hate!
Way back over waters the Doe gently wept
Her newborn dear buck, in bound’s as he leapt
He looks to the sky and exclaims “Mama see!
That man in white garments is waving at me.”
Way high in the Heavens a Father awaits!
The return of his man child at Heavenly Gate
“Come hither my child, it’s a time of great joy
Angels are weeping for the return of my boy!”
The Land Of Goodbye
The Land Of Goodbye
Willing my troubles to drift way up high
Passing the heavens to The Land Of Goodbye
Asking The Keeper for help with my woes
Time for a calmness, and now I let GO!
They reach the door of the Man In The Skies
All in a tether they erupt and then die
Our Father has powers which we cannot see
But faith in his healing will make them go free!
Feeling at peace now I drift off to sleep
Thanking my Father for the love and I weep
My shoulders now lighter so happy I feel
Energy endless and a life that’s SURREAL!

The Awakening For New Year
Hello each, just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year 2011…Have decided to end this old year with another poem named…The Awakening For New Year…Much love always… xxx Lynn xxx
A figure laid in a shop door
Huddled on the coldest of floors
Rags were worn upon his back
He looked frozen to his core
Then he smiled as I was passing
And wished me a wonderful day
He gently looked up to the skies
And then he began to pray!
“Thank you lord for blessings
And for giving me a roof
Also thanks for watching over me
And for keeping me in truth
As I have wealth beyond this world
With a bond which we both share
And you are all which I need in life
So Dear Lord please hear my prayer!”
I envied him with all my heart
For he was truly loved
No gold could ever buy his faith
As it came from far, far above
That eve I came to realise
That miracles can come true
So my awakening for the New Year
Is to help the world get through!
“Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel
To go through the eye of a needle,
Than for a rich to enter the
Kingdom of God.”
An Angel’s New Wings
Magic’s Afoot
Well here goes, my very first blog here on WordPress and I still haven’t the foggiest what I’m doing, lol… Have moved here from Windows Live and am new to putting my poems on here so be patient with me…Anyway with Halloween just around the corner my very first poem here is named Magic Afoot, hope you enjoy…Much love always…LynnKaren
Magic’s Afoot
Magic’s afoot on Halloween night
Ghostliness beings and witches in flight
Beautiful Angel’s whom once looked so sweet
Rap on your window and rants Trick or Treat!
A spell which is cast to make children change
Just for one night, well isn’t that strange?
Feed them with candy and they’ll disappear
Not for forever but for another full year!
This magic is potent and gets under your skin
If you are happy then the grinning begins
But if you are grumpy woe feel my wrath
As all that they wish for is to make you laugh!
Yes magic’s afoot through our babies eyes
Of beautiful dragons or sleighs in the skies
A memento of childhood of how the world seems
Of Fairies or goblins in the world of daydreams!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

My Backyard
Hello again friends, hope you are all well and enjoying the weather…Been a little down but decided to go in the garden to just sit and watch nature, to be honest I really enjoyed myself, lol…So after a while of relaxation a new poem began to form in my head, hence My Backyard…Hope you enjoy…Much love always…xxx Lynn xxx
My Backyard
Whenever feeling sad and glum
I look at all the things you’ve done
Although the times are really hard
I watch the life in my back yard
Where entertainment’s there for free
The blossom’s on the apple tree
And flowers dressed in great attire
The sun which warms me like a fire
The birds do sing their happy tune
Makes my heart start to really bloom
Bee’s collecting for their queen
The grass a shade of emerald green
So many creatures pass me by
With will’s to live and not to die!
There’s so much beauty to be found
On our dear Earth and all around
In my backyard where nature speaks
Unto my heart and makes me weep
So grateful for these things you share
"Thank you Lord!" I start, MY PRAYER!
With Love Always

Listen To My Heart
Hello again, another day of celebration comes to end, hope you had a lovely Easter…Sometimes we love so much but seldom get love in return…So I decided to do another poem from my heart, hence…Listen To My Heart…Hope you enjoy…Much love … xxx Lynn xxx
Listen To My Heart
If you could listen inside of my heart
Not just at the end but also the start!
Maybe you’d alter the way which you feel
Handle with care as it’s breaking for real!
If you could listen before we both fight
Would you correct it and make it alright?
If only you’d see, all It’s been through
It’s tearing in tatters because it needs you!
If you could listen the way which it sighs
Each time we squabble another piece dies
Maybe it’s older and holds many chips
But this heart is fragile and it easily rips!
If you could listen to all which it speaks
Love never dies but now this heart weeps
Why don’t you listen as my love’s for real
Touch it real gently, and hear how it feels!

The Rebirth
Wishing each of you here on spaces a Happy Easter…Sorry I don’t blog much but my other half hasn’t been well and he’s just Come out of hospital but my thoughts are with you all…Still packed in smoking and going stronger than ever, lol… Anyway had to do a poem for a special someone else in my life as Easter is his big day when he finally went back to Our Father in Heaven…This poem has been done of which I think through the eyes of God and I’ve named it The Rebirth…Hope you Enjoy…Much love always… xxx Lynn xxx
The Rebirth
He stood in wait for many years
And watched his life with angry tears
Imagine all which he went through
To save the lives of me and you!
Now imagine through his eyes
Your child and saviour now does lie
Upon a cross which runs with blood
A murder done with nails on wood!
Yet through his love he stood in wait
As he did know his Son’s true fate
For God did love all here on Earth
To share his son for our REBIRTH!
For God so loved the world
That he gave his only begotten son
That whosever believeth on him
Should not perish, but have everlasting life

I Just Can’t Say Goodbye
Good evening my friends…Today is a special day for me as it was my Mother in Laws Birthday… She was a special lady in my life and in fact still is…She sadly got taken away in 2004 six days after her Birthday, she had a relapse with cancer and she was so brave…This may sound stupid but I asked her before she passed away to give me her pain as I would of gladly taken it from her as I loved her so much, she refused…Anyway this poem is for you Mam, Happy Birthday to where you are…I Just Can’t Say Gooodbye… God bless each, much love… xxx Lynn xxx
I Just Can’t Say Goodbye
Nothing is impossible or so people say
If you try really hard some of your pain fades away
But one thing for certain as much as I try
I’ll never forget you and I wont say goodbye!
Your beautiful memory makes life so worthwhile
You lighten my darkness when I picture your smile
I really do miss you in whatever I do
I am definitely richer for the love I had from you!
I just can’t say goodbye as your memory lives here
In a place safe from burglars so I have nothing to fear
I miss you so much and I hope and I pray
That we’ll be both together at the end of my days!
Do Angels have memories? I hope this is true
As when it’s my time I want to share mine with you
I just can’t say goodbye as I still love you so!
I’ll keep you in my heart and will never let YOU GO!

Poor Little Lambs
Hello again everyone, hope all is well with you and 2010 is treating you kind… It’s so horrible about the disaster in Haiti so I had to write a poem for these poor Angels, I named it…Poor Little Lambs…Hope you feel as I do as they must be suffering greatly right now, hope you enjoy…Much love always…xxx Lynn xxx
Poor Little Lambs
Poor little lambs of the nation which weeps
You’re in our heart’s as we drift off to sleep
The Lion’s now calm and we know you are not
All of the pain stays within lest FORGOT!
Why, we do ask, does life come with much pain
We question our Maker many times thrice again!
Your journey is hard, wish we knew what to do
Let us all pray God’s kind love touches YOU!
We know we cannot still your pain from inside
All of your hopes have been lost and denied
A different corner where the Angels do speak
Listen, just listen can you hear how they weep!
Poor little lambs needing help from above
Stay in our hearts let us feed you with love
Spare just a thought or a crumb from your plate
Think of their burdens, before it’s TOO LATE!

Wings Of Honour
Hello friends…Thanks so much for all the lovely comments which you wrote me on my former blog…It’s taken me a while to pluck up the courage to start writing again as the longer I was away the harder it was for me to even write a few words at all, and believe me as you know nothing can normaly shut me up, lol… So at long last i’ve finally done another poem and I’ve named it Wings Of Honour as I truly believe when we’re in our darkest hour we have an Angel with us to help us through… Hope you enjoy… Much love always, sweet dreams … xxx Lynn xxx
Wings Of Armour
He tiptoes in your room and hopes you won’t wake
In a world with much pain he feels your heart break
He whispers in your ear when you sleep in your bed
“I’m here just as promised.” His tears then do shed!
You know not he’s with you as you stir in your dream
A Demon’s real close and you’re too scared to scream
“Come hither!” It beckons! “Come HITHER or DIE!”
Then a bright light surrounds you as you let out a sigh!
“I’m here when you need me! A soothing voice says,
Come here and take refuge! send your Demon away!
My wings are your armour, my heart is your sword
I am the messenger whom’s been sent by The Lord!”
He tiptoes from your room knowing all is at peace
He smiles at the Heaven saying “Bless all that sleep!”
The message now given, his wings strong and white
Back on his journey to visit you! Perhaps ! This night!
He shall cover you With His feathers, and
under His wings you shall take refuge.

A Tiny Small Prayer
Hello again my ‘lil buds, just wanted to wish all of you a Happy New Year and lots of hugs to each…Been thinking of you and have Been enjoying having my Dad here with me, so sorry I haven’t had time to wish you all a Happy New Year personaly…Had to write You another poem to get you in the party mood, hehehe…Hence…A Tiny Small Prayer…Hope you like it as it’s long ,so hope you’re Not drunk, lol…Will try to get to all of you soon, you’ve not lost me yet so you can pull those flags back in, hehehe….Much love to All of you, hope you have a really lovely year… xxx Lynn xxx
A Tiny Small Prayer
Twas New Years cold Eve from times of our late
The unanswered prayers laid dormant in wait
The sign in the office read ‘Urgent Prayers Prayed’
But by error up in Heaven one prayer got mislaid!
All prayers to be answered at once! Did go there!
Gathered by Angels with masteries in prayers
But one prayer too tiny had slipped through a gap
Then fell through the skies and it’s strength it did sap!
On Earth laid a blanket of fluffy white snow
No footprints around it, as lights were down low
A crash, then a whimper, and the snow made a dip
As the little prayer landed from the Heavenly trip!
Up high in the Heaven the Office stopped working
No prayers to be answered as Angels were searching
A tiny prayer lost, a precious wish dashed
The Angels peered down to the Earth where it crashed!
The unanswered prayers scold! “Why the commotion!
This little prayer surely is not worth DEVOTION!
We’re bigger than him, yet you make us all WAIT!
Now God will be angry for receiving us so LATE!”
A voice boomed around them “All prayer’s judge ye not
This tiny small prayer should be least not FORGOT!
Look down on the Earth where the little prayer sleeps!”
The Angels and prayers are so perplexed they weep!
On the ground in the snow laid the unanswered prayer
With indentations so great where it fell through the air
Five giant letters which made the snow cease
This little prayer prayed for, the world to find PEACE!
