Your eyes tell me secrets
This story they do tell
When they sparkle and shine
I know that you are well
If they’re cloudy and misty
And not very clear
You need me to hold you
As teardrops are so near
Sometimes there’s a twinkle
When you’re having fun
They seem to be saying
“Look Grandma, what I’ve done.”
When they draw at the corners
And pull much further down
I know something’s hurt you
As your eyes begin to frown
So you’re eyes really speak to me
I’ll prove that this is true
As when they look up at Grandma
They just whisper, “I LOVE YOU!”

    Hey Lynn,

I love this piece… your writings are quite inspiring…
and the bit "  if they’re cloudy and misty, and not very clear, you need me to hold you as teardrops are so near"  It reminds me of a little girl longing for her mummy, but at the same time it reminds me of what we might just look like in front of God, when everything seems to heavy to bear.. and I could easily picture God saying the same words, softly and gently to us.!

Thank you for sharing this gift.
    much luv
    Remi
