Imagine being raised
In a third world country
Imagine waking up alone
Without your family
Photobucket PhotobucketPhotobucket
Imagine never knowing
If you’ll wake up the next day
Imagine sometimes thinking
Can anyone hear me pray
Photobucket PhotobucketPhotobucket
Imagine a young child
With not too long to live
Imagine no-one caring
Could YOU really FORGIVE!
Photobucket PhotobucketPhotobucket
Imagine losing faith in life
How awful would that be
Imagine knowing hunger
When you are only three
 PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Imagine a newborn baby
Without no milk to drink
Imagine how his Mother feels
Now really TRY to THINK
Photobucket PhotobucketPhotobucket
These precious Angels need help
To make their lives worthwhile
It only takes a few coins
To give them back their SMILE!

such a moving poem lynn. Having been to africa, i’ve seem 1st hand of how they live, and it is heartbreaking. Makes me realise how selfish a lot of people are, as the children there would do anything to help you, just for a biro or a pair of socks!i know whoever reads this peom will pray for those who are suffering, and in need. You are wonderful lynn, for always thinking of others much love tink xx

Evening Lynn…. Your poem is very moving and the words powerful…. I tried to imagine how I would feel if I was in the place of a mother with a child constantly hungry.  I couldn’t even begin to imagine how it must feel for these poor people and their suffering.  Let’s hope that everyone of these people has a guardian angel guiding their way…. I wish I could make things better.   Wishing you a lovely evening flower…. Love and hugs, Caroline x x x

    Good morning Lynne
    Yet another beautiful poem
There is so much hunger, anger and neglect in this world
Everyday we turn on our television sets nd our horrified by whats happening in the world
Sadly then we just go about our day and forget all about it
Thankfully things like this keep it in our attention
    Make poverty history
Just wishing you a wonderful weekend
    God bless
    Love and hugs
    Shelly xxx
