Young Matilda

Good morning friends, thank you for all the kindness you have shown…As you all know, I really like telling stories about Angels…This morning I needed to help cover child abuse, so I wrote a poem of which I’ve named…Young Matilda…I really hope you enjoy…Much love to where you are…You are never far from my heart…Lynn xxxx

Up high in the mountains, where not many go
lives a beautiful Angel who dances on snow
Her hair is like starlight tousled with wind
With a face so Angelic, she makes nature sing!
PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket PhotobucketPhotobucket
She dances for freedom of all the Earth’s woes
A Mother by instinct where harmony grows
Once known as Matilda, a child with a past
And yet she still dances on sheets of white glass!
PhotobucketPhotobucket PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Her story unfolds now, once born of abuse
A buried dark secret which striven for truth
Taunted by parents, neglected from birth
Poor young Matilda, stood no chance on Earth!
PhotobucketPhotobucket PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Young Sisters and Brothers, of which she did care
So she taken her beatings with silence and prayer
A heart of such courage, and also much pain
As night time approaches in her bed did she lain!
PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket PhotobucketPhotobucket
A shout of great torment awoke her from dream
The room red with furnace, and her kin they did scream!
Her parents in stupor from Alcohol fumes
She rushed to the aid of, her families bedrooms!
PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket PhotobucketPhotobucket
Her Sisters and Brothers now safe and secure
Yet sweet young Matilda, went back through the door
Heroic this Angel, for her parents she tried
Alas the red furnace, erupts then they died!
PhotobucketPhotobucket PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Two graves for her parents, and peace for the rest
No Heaven for them though, in the Hells do they fest
Her Sisters and Brothers were taken in care
Until a young couple, their lives did they spare!
PhotobucketPhotobucket PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Young sweet Matilda, now in a grave by a hill
She roams where she pleases, to a land of tranquil.
So up high in the mountains, in a land of pure white
This beautiful Angel, sings and dances EACH NIGHT!

    Angels are
the guardians of hope and wonder, the keepers of magic and dreams.
Wherever there is love, an angel is flying by. Your guardian angel
knows you inside and out, and loves you just the way you are. Angels
keep it simple and always travel light. Remember to leave space in your
relationships so the angels have room to play. Your guardian angel
helps you find a place when you feel there is no place to go. Whenever
you feel lonely, a special angel drops in for tea. Angels are with you
every step of the way and help you soar with amazing grace. After all,
we are angels in training; all we have to do is spread our wings and
fly! You— Dear Lynn are an angel. Thank you for being, my friend, huggies, dawn. i hope the week ahead’ll be good to you :)))

    Heya darling  :)

ah, a subject that angers me greatly whenever i read about it.
i don’t know what goes through the mind of a person who’d stoop so low as to hurt a child in such ways as we see in the news these days, but i can think of some punishments that fit the crime.
well domsetic violence in general does this to me but hey..
it’s a wonderful poem hun, one of your best yet i reckon.
hope you have a great day

Lynn ,this is a beautiful ,yet very sad tribute to all innocent victims of child abuse. Wow ,you have a way with
words like I’ve never seen before!  Someone has to have experienced this kind of pain to be able to express it the way you do. I’m glad I found your beautiful site and I enjoy  reading these magnificent *works of art*.
