Trick Or Treat?

Happy Halloween Everybody…Hope all you lovely friends have a happy time this Halloween week…I’ve been a bit on the busy side lately due to problems with my arm, tonight I’m having a scan, would you believe it 7:00 p.m…Also 5th November having a pre op which could take up to 4 hours just to see if i’m fit enough to take an op…Then on 14th November I’m actually having the operation…Then fingers crossed I’ll be on the heal, hehehe…So if I don’t get chance to drop by on you to wish you all Happy Halloween I’ll be thinking of you this night…The best part of Halloween to me is when the young ones knock on my door giggling and dressed for a bit of fun…A lot of people have different opinions but I personaly love it…So here’s my new poem just for you…Trick Or Treat?…Hope you enjoy…Big hugs and love always… xxx Lynn xxx

Trick Or Treat?

This day is named Halloween where magic is a rule
Children waiting anxiously to get home after school
They go into their bedrooms as a meek young child
Then a spell gets cast on them which makes them go all wild!

Little monsters everywhere, where’s the Children gone?
Ghouls and witches in their place, streets are overrun
In their arms are Pumpkin heads with eyes alight with fire
As they approach somebody’s door the Human does perspire!

"Trick or Treat! They cry aloud. Give us all some sweets!
We are here to have some fun and make your body creep
Boo! We dressed up just for you to make you gasp and smile
Put some candy in our bags to make our night worthwhile!”

Magic really does exist, it shines from children’s eyes
They believe in Fairy Tales or witches in the skies
I wish I could be like a child all innocent and sweet
Then I’d join in all their fun especially TRICK OR TREAT!

Loed your poem hon, and I hope all goes well and you come back soon hon, but most importantly, take your time healing so it never comes back again.
I have a question for you and you can get back to me on this whenever, just something I’m throwing out there. How do you get the graphic backgrounds in your blog page? I bet it’s something easy and I’m overlooking it lol.

     Love and hugs,
