The Awakening For New Year

Hello each, just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year 2011…Have decided to end this old year with another poem named…The Awakening For New Year…Much love always… xxx Lynn xxx

A figure laid in a shop door

Huddled on the coldest of floors

Rags were worn upon his back

He looked frozen to his core

Then he smiled as I was passing

And wished me a wonderful day

He gently looked up to the skies

And then he began to pray!

“Thank you lord for blessings

And for giving me a roof

Also thanks for watching over me

And for keeping me in truth

As I have wealth beyond this world

With a bond which we both share

And you are all which I need in life

So Dear Lord please hear my prayer!”

I envied him with all my heart

For he was truly loved

No gold could ever buy his faith

As it came from far, far above

That eve I came to realise

That miracles can come true

So my awakening for the New Year

Is to help the world get through!

“Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel

To go through the eye of a needle,

Than for a rich to enter the

Kingdom of God.”

  8. Lovely poem to end the year
in the darkest time of pain
faith an anchor never in vain
in tis world found entities two
good and bad rich and poor joy and sorrow
for tis a balance in Gods hand
to share and love lessons of the land

  13. Hi Lynn,
Its good to see you too & thank you for kind words 🙂
I’ve just not had time to really get back in to this blogging thing, & I’m not too sure about this wordpress stuff as I was quite happy with spaces.
Lots goping on at home, my mum hasn’t been well all last year ( 80 years old – not good), and has had to have heart surgery recently , so all my spare time has been taken up administering to stuff.
Keep up the good work, it’s been too long since you last wrote!
Thanks for looking me up, much appreciated.
see you soon , love n hugs xxx

    • Hi Seadog,
I’m about in the same boat as you as my Dad’s been really ill, he had a stroke and it’s affected his left side
And he’s also 80…I’m still not quite comfortable with WordPress as WLS was like my home, perhaps I’m
Getting too old now to cope with change, lol…:)
Thanks for the visit and perhaps next time we speak we may feel more comfortable with this WordPress
Thing, lol. Will pop by for a visit soon, take care and give your mum a cuddle off me 😉

    • Hiya Magsy,
As soon as I get chance I’ll let you know how to do your background with a wallpaper of your choice,I’ll have to refresh my brain though with how I done it again, lol 😀 I must admit I get so frustrated here as WLS was so straight forward to do, how very much I miss my old space…Anyway am thinking of you and lets hope we both get the hang of this flipping WordPress, lol 😉 Much love and more….xxx Lynn xxx
